  • Poha - 1 cup
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida - 1 pinch
  • Rai - 1 tsp
  • Onion, finely chopped - cup
  • Curry leaves - 8 to 10
  • Whole red chili - 3
  • Potato, finely chopped - cup
  • Turmeric - half tsp
  • salt - as per taste
  • Finely chopped green chili - one teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Green coriander - 1 tsp
  • Lemon peel - for garnishing

Method - Poha Recipe

Step 1: First, put the poha in a sieve and wash it a little. Remember that do not keep the poha in water for a long time. Remove the extra water simultaneously. Step 2: Put oil in a pan and heat it. Now when the oil is hot, add asafoetida and mustard seeds. After 30 seconds, add curry leaves, onions, and whole red chilies and cook the spices well. Step 3: When the masala starts leaving the oil, add potatoes to it and when the potatoes turn light golden in color, now add turmeric to it. Step 4: Now fry the potatoes on low flame.

Step 5: Now increase the flame, add salt and poha and keep stirring it together so that the spices get mixed well.
Step 6: Now turn off the gas, add green chili, lemon juice and half green coriander and mix it well. Step 7: Your healthy and delicious Poha is ready. Take it out in a bowl and serve it garnished with some finely chopped coriander leaves and lemon peel.
